It seems that each holiday has a very specific menu, based on your family’s traditions and nationality. At Tom Bailey’s we have an eclectic collection of heritages that comprise our team. For instance, some of our employees slave over the stove to serve the Italian Seven Fish on Christmas Eve, while others enjoy lingonberries on Christmas Morning or indulge in lasagna after their Thanksgiving turkey.
Of all the holidays and their corresponding “tradition-meals”, Easter seems to be the most ambiguous. While some feast on fresh or spiral hams, others enjoy leg of lamb or even crown roast of pork as the centerpiece of their holiday dinners. It seems that in some households lasagna or a pizza rustica makes a welcomed appearance.
This year, our chef is creating everything from spiral hams, sweet potatoes and asparagus, to macaroni and cheese, guacamole and spaghetti squash for our clients, making Easter one of our favorite holidays to be a part of and experience new family traditions and recipes via our treasured clientele.
